Started in a house in High grounds( now known as Millers Road), Bangalore

Dr G U Pope gave the motto "Nec Dextrorsum , Nec Sinistrorsum" meaning "Neither to the right nor to the left"

Moved to own premises of 13 acres on St. Mark's Road for Rs. 22,000.

Cadet Corps belonging to Bangalore Rifle Volunteers formed
